The Power of Mediation

Mediation leaves the decision power totally and strictly with the parties. The Mediator does not decide what "fair" or "right is," does not assess blame nor render an opinion on the merits or chances of success if the case were litigated. Instead, the Mediator acts as a catalyst between opposing interests attempting to bring them together by defining issues and eliminating obstacles to communication while moderating and guiding the process to avoid confrontation and ill will. Arbitral Tribunal

Recently, at Ross Pitcoff Law, we have been asked a few questions about arbitral tribunal. In most arbitrations, the arbitral tribunal will compromise with either one, two or three arbitrators. When the parties have agreed on institutional arbitration, the institution's rules will usually contain default provisions governing the number of arbitrators if the parties have not covered this in the contract and cannot agree on the same. Potential Blockchain Frauds

The underlying technology behind Cryptocurrency is Blockchain, by which many users or "nodes" all hold a complete record of all transactions that have ever occurred on the platform. Negotiating part payment and rescheduling the debt - confirmed in writing - can help you recover some of the money you are owed and improve the chances of maintaining a good relationship if the customer's problems are only temporary. A compromising agreement could allow for interest and enable you to avoid the effort and expense of taking further action. To learn more about compromising agreements, email: ross@rosspitcofflaw.com or call our office at: (646) 386-0990 to set up a consultation. ...
