Arbitral Tribunal

Recently, at Ross Pitcoff Law, we have been asked a few questions about arbitral tribunal.

In most arbitrations, the arbitral tribunal will compromise with either one, two or three arbitrators.

When the parties have agreed on institutional arbitration, the institution’s rules will usually contain default provisions governing the number of arbitrators if the parties have not covered this in the contract and cannot agree on the same.
